About the MOZUYAN MALL Business Matchmaking System for EXPO2025

What is the MOZUYAN MALL?
MOZUYAN MALL, set up by the Osaka Prefectural Government and operated by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is an online portal to support procurement efforts relative to the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai. For companies/organizations wishing to procure supplies, services, works and provision of services related to the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, it provides information about Osaka-based suppliers and their products and services. Further, it aims to facilitate business matchings by disseminating notices posted by buyers to Osaka-based SMEs.
(Buyers) What can I do on the MOZUYAN MALL?
Using the List of Suppliers function, you can search for product/service listings by any keywords and make an offer (inquiry) to the listing company on their profile page. Moreover, as our portal is linked to The Business Mall (an e-Sourcing portal for Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Societies across Japan), you can expand your search to company profiles in all areas in Japan. The Business meeting function allows you to call for quotations and proposals for purchase, procurement and contracting of products/services from registered suppliers.
(Suppliers) What can I do on the MOZUYAN MALL?
You can register company profile and product/service information and publish it to the List of Suppliers. Once published, your information will become visible to buyers who are on the lookout for EXPO-related supplies and services and you will be able to receive offers (inquiries) from interested buyers. Using the Business meeting function, you can directly submit a proposal or quotation to notices posted by buyers and apply for said contract. You can also follow categories of interest to receive an alert whenever there is a newly published notice under selected categories.
(Buyers) I want to look for companies that can provide 2025 Osaka Kansai EXPO related supplies, services and works. How can I do that?
First please register as a "Buyer". Once the registration is complete, you will be able to publish notices (detailing product or service information that you are looking to purchase, procure or supply) using the Business meeting function and call for applications from registered suppliers. Moreover, you can search for suppliers and directly make an offer (inquiry) to them on the List of Suppliers without registering as an user.

(Suppliers) I want to list our company on the MOZUYAN MALL. Can anyone register on the portal?
When you register as a supplier, you will be able to publish your company profile on the List of Suppliers on the MOZUYAN MALL. Companies and organizations eligible to register as a supplier are those based in Osaka Prefecture (with an office staffed and operated within the Prefecture). You can register from "Register".

(Suppliers) I want to apply for a notice. What do I do?
First please register as a "Supplier" on "Register". Once your registration is approved, you can apply for notices. Companies and organizations eligible to register as a supplier are those based in Osaka Prefecture (with an office staffed and operated within the Prefecture)
(Buyers/Suppliers) Is there going to be any fees to use the MOZUYAN MALL?
Registration and use of the MOZUYAN MALL is completely free of charge including at the time of the signing of the contract.

User Registration (User ID and Password)

How long does it take for account verification so I can start using the portal?
After receiving your user registration application, the Executive Office will review the application details and will send out the confirmation email approximately within 1 week from receipt.
I registered my account but I have not heard from the Executive Office yet.
Please check first if the email from the Executive Office is in the spam folder or deleted items folder. If you cannot find any email there and have not received the confirmation email after a week from registration, kindly contact The Office for MOZUYAN MALL Business Matchmaking System for EXPO2025.
I forgot my User ID.
Your email address is used as your User ID. Enter the email address you used in your user registration process.
I forgot my password.
You can reset your password if you forgot the password. Go to "Forgotten Password" and enter your registered email address to reset it.
Error message "Incorrect User ID or password" shows up and I cannot login.
Ensure that you are entering correct ID or password without error. Double-check if the Caps Lock is enabled or not, and any accidental space or period and comma is inadvertently typed in the field. If your password is saved on the device, try typing it out again. It is also recommended to use notes app to save your password. If you cannot login to the portal using your credentials, your password may be incorrect - please reset it.
Error message "The email address you entered is not registered in the portal" shows up when I tried to reset my password.
If this message shows up, please create your account again.
I am unsure if I have an account on the portal or not.
Go to Forgotten Password to enter your email address to see if your email address is registered in the portal or not. If the message "The email address you entered is not registered in the portal" shows up, please create your account.

I want to add another staff in charge from the same company as a new user.
You can either add a new user from My Page, or click "Register" to search for your company name and apply for registration of the new user.
Is there any limit in number of users one company can register?
There is no limit.
Error message "This email address is already in use" shows us and I cannot create my account.
The MOZUYAN MALL uses your email address as the User ID. Therefore, regardless of your account type Buyer or Supplier, you can only use the same email address once. Please use a different email address for registration.
The password link was expired after 24 hours.
Go to "Forgotten Password" and enter your email address to send the link for resetting again.
I made a mistake choosing the account type Supplier and Buyer.
Please contact The Office for MOZUYAN MALL Business Matchmaking System for EXPO2025. We will remove the registration and you will be required to register again.

List of Suppliers

How do I contact the companies listed on the List of Suppliers?
You can contact them directly using the contact details on the company profile. Please be reminded that it is prohibited to make any communications to registered companies to pitch sales, endorse products or services, or use phone to pitch sales in any way.
How can I list our company to the List of Suppliers?
When you register as a supplier, you will be able to publish your company profile on the List of Suppliers on the MOZUYAN MALL. Companies and organizations eligible to register as a supplier are those based in Osaka Prefecture (with an office staffed and operated within the Prefecture). You can register from "Register".
The search results don't show my company name
Please note that once registration is complete, your company name will be added to the registry by the following day. Only suppliers will be listed to the List of Suppliers; buyers will not be included.

Registration of Company Profile

I modified our company information - when will it be reflected?
Company information is reviewed and verified by the Potal Office before officially published. Usually it takes around one week for approval, however, in cases where you have yet to receive the confirmation email or the changes are not reflected on your profile, please contact the Executive Office for further assistance.
I received the confirmation email of changed company information but I don't see the changes yet when I hit the search.
Changes will be reflected in word search results of List of Suppliers within the following day.
Can I publish information about our products and services?
MOZUYAN MALL allows you to list product and service information (up to 100 listings) from the basic company profile, licensure and accreditation information such as "Made in Osaka" "Takumi/Expert".
What can I publish in a product/service listing?
Per one listing, you may upload three images (1MB each), title, description (up to 1000 words), links and video links.
Which formats of image are allowed to upload?
Images of the maximum size of 1MB (jpg, bmp, png or gif) can be uploaded. There is no restriction in image dimension. You cannot upload PDF files as images.
Are images mandatory for a listing?
You may register your listing without images. However, listings with images will be listed in the top search results - therefore, it is advisable that you publish some images such as sample images and office exterior to your listing as much as you can.
I cannot change my image.
Once an image is downloaded, click "Publish" to change the image. If an error message pops up, please follow the instructions. If an image remains unchanged despite following the instructions, try to refresh the browser (by pressing Ctrl and F5 key at the same time) to load the latest page. If any of the above do not work, please contact the Executive Office.

Business matchmaking (Buyers)

I want to call for suppliers - how do I do that?
First please register as a "Buyer". Once the registration is complete, you will be able to publish notices (detailing product or service information that you are looking to purchase, procure or supply) using the business meeting function and call for applications from registered suppliers.
Can a notice of any nature?
A notice for publishing on the MOZUYAN MALL using the Business meeting function must be related to World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai where by you are the buyer. It is published on the condition that it provides the information of works (goods) and the corresponding remuneration between the buyer (e.g. payer) and the supplier (e.g. product/service provider) upon conclusion of the deal. For detailed rules on notices, please refer to "How to Use the Portal as a Buyer".
Is there going to be any fees to use the Business meeting function?
From business meeting through closing of the deal, it is completely free of charge.
How do I modify the notice details?
Please contact The Office for MOZUYAN MALL Business Matchmaking System for EXPO2025 with the new details. The Executive Office will modify on behalf of you.
How do I close applications?
From My Page, go to Buyer's Account Manager - List of Notices - Notice Details then click "Close applications" to change the end date of application by the closing day.
Multiple suppliers submitted proposals for my notice, but I can't pick one.
You are allowed to move on to business meeting with multiple companies at the same time. You can arrange for a business meeting with any company you are interested in working with to proceed to business meeting.
If I choose "Start business meeting", do I have to contract this company?
No, you are not obligated to contract the company when you start business meeting with them. If interested, you may proceed to business meeting. Contact information will become available in your My Page, and you may communicate more to check specifications and details, ask for a detailed quotation if needed, to proceed the negotiations.
How do I contact the company that I am interested in working with?
You can view the contact information of the other party in Offer Details in My Page. You may start your business meeting on the phone, email, in person or using the business meeting thread on the portal.

MOZUYAN MALL does not cover any loss arising from transactions on the portal. As a user to engage in actual transactions, you are advised to take charge of credit management and control risk factors at your discretion.

Should I check the portal frequently for latest notices?
You can register categories of interest in your user basic information. Whenever there is a new notice published under selected categories, you will receive a notification via email.
I have some questions regarding a notice. What should I do?
When a notice page has "Ask a question" button, you can inquire the buyer prior to application. Please be reminded that the inquiry function is a space for suppliers to ask preliminary questions prior to submitting proposals and your questions and answers will be publicized for all users. For this, please refrain from disclosing personal information or detailing specifics of a business meeting in this space.
Information on the notice is not sufficient for our company to make a quotation. What should I do?
If you have any questions, use the "Ask a question" function to clarify with the buyer. In cases where you deem that your quotation may greatly depend on quantity or specifications, you may make an offer based on past examples such as "We offer at JPY XX for YY pieces". In addition, the initial quotation at the time of application is a part of appealing to the buyer - after starting your business meeting, you can brush up specifications and details for the notice and submit a revised quotation if necessary, too.
I want to modify or add something to the submitted proposal.
You can make a proposa to a notice only once. You are not allowed to make any changes or add something once submitted.
I asked something to the buyer but have not received any reply yet.
Please contact the Executive Office. We will check with the buyer on your behalf.
I submitted a proposal but have not received any response from the buyer yet.
Some buyers respond to proposals timely as they receive, while others wait for a reponse until all proposals are submitted. Usually, you should be guided by the "Expected date of response after application" in notice information. If you have not heard from the buyer after said date, you may either reach out to the Executive Office for assistance or withdraw your application.
I received the notification of a declined offer, but I still want to contact the buyer for another offer.
After your offer was declined, you are not allowed to contact the buyer any further. If you have multiple products/services to offer, you are advised to mention such in your initial proposal.

Once you are in business meeting with them, the contact information of the other party will become available in Offer Details in My Page. You may start your business meeting on the phone, email, in person or using the business meeting thread on the portal.

What is a Code of Sustainable Procurement?
For the sustainable EXPO operations, we determined “Code of Sustainable Procurement“.
The code contains standards and practices to consider sustainability in the procurement process of goods and services.
Businesses (suppliers, licensees, etc.) who are interested in procuring and selling goods and services related to the holding and operation of the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, as well as pavilion operators, etc , are using the Code of Sustainable Procurement to ensure sustainable procurement.
